I’m a formally taught bassist via an upright during my senior year in high school and formatted what I learned on the upright to the electric bass. I attribute my “unique/no picks please” playing style to the teachings I got in Orchestra plus my general concept that a bass player can do leads and/or take “center stage” when applicable. When I play, I do play from the heart and from my experiences playing live, people see it. I’ve historically been in Metal bands but my last band (Crown Moon = RIP) was more groovy/rock/radio friendly type that was just to cool. To boot I was recruited by the singer while in a previous band Locust Grave. I am a Metalhead (have been since I was six years old) but I am also a music fan. If I feel it, I’m all over it.
My only band at this time since late 2009 has been with Reticle stationed out of the Manassas/Dale City, Virginia area.
