Provence is an experimental rock band formed in the spring of 2008 by Rabib Hasan (guitar) and Jonah Fishel (vocals/keys/guitar). The band soon began to write original material and Devin Runco (lead guitar) joined the band soon afterward. After playing a few shows, Provence took a long break to write more original material and Madie McCormack (drums) and Paul McDonald (bass) joined to round out the band's sound. The band's complex rhythms, guitar-driven songs, and unique influences of rock, reggae, jazz, alternative, acoustic, fusion, blues, and funk gives Provence a unique sound. While currently limited to local shows, they hope to begin branching out soon
