The band was formed at the end of 2008 with the guys getting together at a studio for a jam. They got carried away in the moment. This resulted in two demo tracks. Then they invited Ivan Ponkin to name the gig Riff Action Family [R.A.F.]. They are the first musicians who tried to play experimental English rock in Russia. The band began to actively rehearse, hence, created a concert program. By the summer 2009, there was enough material for a full vibrant statement and during that summer for the first time, they played at the festival Air-2009. This was followed by events in St. Petersburg and Moscow, performing at various full-fledged festivals.
In 2010 R.A.F. presented debut EP From Russia With Love. The debut album contains wicked four full-length tracks which demonstrate the band's choice versatility. By listening to the tracks, you don't know what awaits you around the corner...
