Do I need to be a professional artist to join?
Only in spirit! We at SeeJoeRock are dedicated to undiscovered and independent artists. Not everyone on this site will be "Seasoned", but that does not mean that they will not be professional. I guess the best way to answer that question would be to go explore and see for yourself.
We will not have major label acts on our website nor will we have uncle Jim who thinks his cheek makes awesome noises. This is for serious artists that don't want to get swallowed in a sea of mediocrity and actually have a chance to stand out and show major labels that they can rock.

Is there a fee? Is it different for different membership types?
SeeJoeRock is currently 100% free to all members during our beta phase, but reserves the right to charge fees in the future if it comes to that.

How many videos can I (artist) load at any given time?
Right now the total amount of videos is 6. But this is mostly because if you cant show your best with 6 videos then you might be doing something wrong. Also PRO's don't want to sift though tons of videos. Think of it as more of a way of getting your fans to want more, and inspire them to come see you live!

How often can I update my profile?
At midnight when you want a snack. At lunch break during work. While pretending to work....
OK you can update it 24/7.

What information can I access from the fans?
The most valuable information to an artist out there...You can find out what they think!

Can I sell items (CD’s, T-Shirts, etc.) via this site?
Currently we do not have this ability but keep an eye out in the near future ;)
What is the cancellation policy?
You can cancel your membership to SeeJoeRock at anytime. All you need to do is click on 'Edit' in your 'Basics' area in your MyProfile, then click on 'Delete Account' on the left under your Bio Photo.
Will my personal information be shared with others?
Your privacy is important too us. We tried to give you as much control as possible when it comes to the information you want to share with the world. If you have any suggestions on how to make this better for you please send an email to: info@seejoerock.com

Will there be a section that tells me about possible booking opportunities?
When an artist or PRO adds a show to the calendar, there is an option for "Other performers". This will create a link that artists can click on to contact the poster about potential booking. But you could also get booked by old fashioned networking and show trading! The more active you are on the site the more opportunities you'll find opening up for you.
How do I invite my friends to join?
Click on the "Invite Friends" in the green sub menu bar under the main navigation and invite away!

How can I advertise on the site?

Is there a rating system for the posted videos? How does that work?
The rating system is the heart of "Famedom" at SeeJoeRock. All members that view an artists profile can rate their favorite videos. Top rated videos can boost artist's videos to the homepage or even help them be featured members.

Local events are updated constantly by our members.

This is not currently available on our site.

What is a SUPER Fan?
A SUPER Fan is a fan that is willing to leap buildings, run faster than trains, and promote the hell out of their favorite band or artist! These are die hard people that truly care about the music.

As a fan, can I download an artist's video or song to my MP3 player or IPOD?
As a fan you can only save your favorite artist's songs and videos to your profile.

At the moment no you cannot, but you can comment on artists profiles and videos.

We sure do! Our search lets you look for artists and pros as easy as 1-2-3. Go ahead and give it a try (link to advanced search)

How many genres do you cover?
Unfortunately music is so amazing that there are genre's being created everyday, but we're are doing our best to make sure "acid-jazz-crunk-grind" gets added and your style is properly represented.

What is your policy on violent and/or offensive videos & musical lyrics?
SeeJoeRock reserves the right to remove any inappropriate or offensive material as stated in the Terms and Conditions. If you find any offensive material please send an email to admin@seejoerock.com
