Dave Mallen is a talented producer/engineer, multi-instrumentalist, performing singer/songwriter, film composer, and owner of Innovation Station Music, a music production company and recording studio based in Arlington, VA. Dave founded Innovation Station Music (www.innovationstationmusic.com) several years ago to be an "incubator" for emerging local talent - a “one-stop shop” where artists of all genres and all levels could develop their sound and collaborate with a skilled producer in a state-of-the-art recording studio - and then be given the tools necessary to forge a path to success in the ever-changing music business. All of this is done by providing each client with a highly professional, personalized experience, blending musical innovation and high-quality production with focused business strategy. Dave has produced recordings and provided music business services for dozens of artists from the DC area and beyond, and his work has generated numerous accolades and award-winning songs.

Dave Mallen holds a Master's Certificate in Music Business and Technology from the Berklee College of Music, was Musical Director for the DC Independent Music Festival in 2008, and has spoken at a number of music industry conferences. Dave is also the co-founder of the Metro Music Source, a monthly networking event that brings together DC-based musicians and music industry professionals.
